I know that a house would be better then an apartment, but money is tight. My pit bull is the sweetest dog ever and we are just trying to find a place to live. I live in Mesa, and any area around there would be great. Please and thank you.

while not always the best place to look for apartments I would suggest scanning Craigslist. I have seen a few adverts on there listed as "pit bull friendly".

What I might try too - dunno if it will work - but try calling a major apartment complex that owns several different complex's in the area -- and see what the rules are. I know in my complex in Scottsdale -- you had to pay extra and sign something... One day while in the office paying rent I heard the office manager giving a little 'talk' to a nice guy who had a pit bull - evidently he had it off leash - the dog scared a little old lady - who evidently spiced up the truth a bit and said the dog chased her into the bushes - the apartments were fair and impartial to both sides of the story - but all he got was a notice on his door and this 'talk' -- My complex owners are a big corporation that owns a few places....but thus far I've enjoyed them ... Villa Montana is the name of one of their complexes...but they have others across town and maybe down your way -- Good luck to you!
