Ponderosa - I think this is the 2nd time this year you've woken up to talk about the lack of rain while I commented that we had a pretty good storm

Kind of funky as there usually isn't that much of a difference ...... things must be dying in the mountains .... i still had puddles on my patio this morning

Casa Grande - ZERO last night! Maybe a trace this morning from the leftovers. Just barely got the ground wet. But, we are often the last ones to see any real rain!

Frustrating!

Nothing by me in Queen Creek, but when my husband got to work in Mesa early this morning, he said everything there was soaked.

The storm hit north Phoenix. Lots of thunder and lightening and a decent amount of rain. When the worst was over I went out and walked the pedestrian bridge across Greenway. The cool air and drizzle made for a nice late night walk. Hope it happens again.

Ok - so the weather service (www.weather.gov) just updated the forecast for this afternoon for entire Phoenix/Pinal area to 60% chance of HEAVY rain! I sure hope they are right for us....looking at radar...definetely a lot of stuff all around heading our way.

Lets hope!

Didn't see it rain here (ground was wet this morning) but loved laying in bed and listening to the thunder while I fell asleep. Hope it does it again tonight.
