So my husband is a computer geek and wants to get a degree in some kind of computer aided design. He applied at both ASU and UAT. UAT is willing to transfer his credits from another school (about 41 credits) where ASU wants him to be a new freshman because they wont even look at the transcripts....I personally feel that ASU would be better because it is more well known and less expensive but UAT would take less time (evening out the money issue a bit) and is also regionally accredited....what can you tell me if anything about UAT??

Never heard of it. Did your husband apply to DeVry University? I know several people who have gone there and it seems to have a good reputation, and is another alternative to a 4-year degree at ASU.

I'm a UAT grad ('98). Send me a direct message with any questions you may have about the school.

I would suggest UAT--ASU I think is just getting into computer degrees to tap into a growing market. I wouldn't trust their degree personally and I would suggest UAT over DeVry because I'm pretty sure that Devry is more of a trade school while UAT is a university. Just my two cents though....

Thats what I am hoping jimmy- that its better than Devry- I know people graduating from Devry that cant find jobs! But I guess the economy has alot more play in that than the school you went to
