Smile lived in PHX area before, great place!

I think you'll enjoy living the rather carefree lifestyle of the desert Southwest!

I used to live there, for many years!

I now live in the St Louis area, which is a nice place; however, living in Phoenix is really nice...

closer to mountains (snow covered too!)

closer to Pacific coast

weather you can almost set your clock to (here in STL the weather is very fickle)

Overall, PHX is not the perfect place but really that is extremely hard to find - "everytown USA" has it's unique pros/cons, right?

Good Luck!

Talking Looove it here!

I moved to Phoenix from Florida. It is perfectly located. I love to travel, and there are so many wonderful places to visit in driving distance, and by airplane at decent prices! There is an abundant amount of hiking options, restaurants, nightlife, and nice people.

My family and I just moved here in July from Seattle. We LOVE it! Weather being the number 1 reason. We got so tired of the rain, gray and cold for 9-10 months out of the year. I keep having to remind myself that it's fall and mid-october. August was really hot but we knew that moving here. It's Arizona. We are about 20 years older than you but enjoy the same things and are having fun. Our daughter is at college in Tucson and is also loving AZ.
