No great loss.

I am currently fixated on Fry's deli counter offerings. They use Boar's Head in ingredients and are usually on sale.

Sprouts isn't great, but for 2.99, I would have a very difficult time justifying Firehouse right around the corner.

I have been to Jimmy John's twice and it didn't seem like anything special. I prefer Quizno's to Subway because the procurement of a sandwich at a Subway requires a lengthy conversation with a dullard who isn't going to do what you ask anyway. They are opening a Jersey Mike's Subs in our neighborhood soon, which I will check out.

Jersey Mike's is pretty good, I have been there a few times. I had port-o-subs today and it was horrible.

Really? Purely subs I would put cousins, subway, and boring jersey mikes last. I don't know what kind of service people are wanting from a sub place.. JJ's takes your order and "beach club up" Beyond making your sub right, it isn't a restaurant... If you're taking sandwiches, local only spots for me.

JJ's at tempe marketplace literately made my sandwich within 1 minute. I told them beach club, paid, and 1 minute later, i was out. wow!!!!

Thanks for reminding me. Dilly's never disappoints, when it comes to a tasty sandwich. I don't go by there often, but am happy when I do.

I think everyone is having a problem keeping up with with Subway's $5 foot long. We are usually a Subway family (with a couple of exceptions) and never leave hungry even though we usually only get a six inch. We always have to ask for more lettuce or spinach since the kids making it (who must hate veggies btw) usually just put a whisper of the greens on the sammy on the first pass.
I try to order whatever meat is in the metal hot containers which is usually the chicken teriyaki since it's not pre measured so you actually get some.
