hi---i'm supposed to find out if there is a local place to get alfalfa bales in bulk, near the 10 freeway, close to Pheonix. I went to ask.com and they placed me here. I'm coming from California so I'm not too familiar with your area and would really appreciate and kind of assistance. Someone let me know...we're driving out before the weekend. My name is Issac and you can contact me at 562-304-5398.

Not sure exactly what you are looking for and where you are hauling it, but here's some info. There's some on the west side, relatively near I-10.

Yuma is 180 miles closer to CA that Phoenix, plenty of alfalfa is grown in Yuma, likewise El Centro in CA.

Yuma would help, but they are traveling I-10, not 8. Since I don't know exactly what he's trying to do (where the hay is going, for instance) it's hard to give advice.

Watched Alfalfa being mowed yesterday @ Cotton/Waddell Rd in surprise. Several fields of it in the section of I-10-Bell Rd, between Litchfield-Cotton. Mostly commercial farms that also have fields of Roses,Field Corn and Cabbage right now.
