I think no matter the black or white, the car still looks very dirty under the dust. Considering the hot summer, I suggest you the white one.

I don't personally think it will make much difference. If you sat two cars out in the July sun, both leather interiors, same tint, and no sun shade for the windshield, I bet you'll still peel half your backside off on the seat. Maybe it'll take less time to peel in the black car. A difference of 10-15 degrees when its already 150 inside your car doesn't really matter.

To me, the bigger issues are leather vs cloth interior and the fact that black takes more work to maintain that sheen. Other than that, tint the hell out of the car and buy a sun screen for the windshield.

I own a black truck here. The exterior color makes virtually no difference. Your interior color can make a difference though.

What people have said about dust and black is true. It gets dirty easily here. Go with a silver or grey-ish color. I don't like white at all, myself. Imagine what the vehicle is going to look like in ten years. Or, look at ten year old cars and figure out which color paints kept a good look.

White can look quite good out here even after 10 years. I sold my 9 yr old white car earlier this year and it still looked like new...

And I'm surprised how many people think the exterior color doesn't make a difference. Have you ever been out in the sun in a white tshirt vs a black one? Big difference in how warm you feel when the sun hits you for a while.

Sorry to take it off topic, but HX_Guy, nice Audi A4. That's (hopefully) my next vehicle purchase, I am sick of my Honda.

I do agree that white cars seem easier to maintain the paint, I wax my cars every 2-3 months and my white car always looks better than my black truck.

Obviously, the owner is at fault here for taking awesome care of his car. Not everyone has that kind of dedication.

I agree about getting a car the color of dirt. LOL I have had silver, grey, gold, and light brown. They all have looked clean much longer than most. The white cars do seem much cooler than darker colors. I am curious, what to any of you use to keep the leather from splitting? I have used Lexol but still had problems. Any suggestions?
