I have a client that wants free wireless in every apartment, looking to rent in Scottsdale or Paradise Valley.

Anyone know how to find one? I have too much time searching, and when I do find one, they have several specific questions answered about the service.

Anyone?

Ummmm. . . . what do you mean "every apartment"?

She doesn't want wireless to be available just in the clubroom, business center, etc.

She wants them to offer it in individual apartments. I'm not sure of this request, if it can be found.

When I was looking last year in North Scottsdale and around Desert Ridge it was occasionally offered. I think some of the complexes around Frank Lloyd Wright and Scottsdale Road have it.

One thing: If she actually relies on Internet connectivity for work-at-home or anything critical, she's probably going to want her own service. That's why free wi-fi wasn't a critical factor for me.

Thanks, and she does have several questions about the reliability, too. I'll check on those.

Considering a good WiFi set-up is only about 50 bucks a month . . . very interesting, even strange, criteria for a place to live.

I would tell her if she can afford an apartment in those locations, to find service to be protected, or go to a hotel. I get my broadband satellite connection for $33/month. I think it has gone down once for maybe an hour in 2+ years....Most people want their own service....

None, they put the antenna on the roof, wired their modem into the house (too many times moving before we finally bought) and I hooked my WIFI router to it to run 3 computers, the DVD player on the TV to stream netflix and the wireless printer in another room, I have the cheapest connection they offer, but I work all day downloading voice files to transcribe and send back with no problem, granddaughter is on doing school or whatever, and when hubby is home he has his laptop connected. We have no problem for the most part, but I have security enabled even though the neighbors are too far to get in easily short of sitting on the road outside the gate. No phone service, no TV service, just internet.
