I have never had any issues at The Mills Mall. And I drive a truck that is always on the top stolen lists.
Make it hard from them to steal it. Alarm, Low Jack, The Club, and a pedal locking device. They will move on to an easier vehicle.
And yes, I know if they really want it they will take it...the only thing we can really do is make it harder for them to do so.

I would just park as close as you can. My issues are with the gang banger and shady types walking around at that mall. I think I heard AZ Mills put some restrictions now on kids under 18 after a certain hour. I used to like AZ Mills but the last few years I couldn't stomach it over there any more.
What stores were you looking at visiting? The assortant over there can be found up at New River, except for the JC Penny Outlet and the Burlington Outlet. Stick with Desert Ridge

Desert Ridge is nice. The Mall in Chandler is nice. Arrowhead is nice. And I'm sure the one they are planning in Surprise will be nice (supposedly going to be the largest in the state)

If you’re going to make ignorant comments at least back them up with factual data. Goodyear is not extreme East it’s in the southwest valley. Apache Junction is far east. Since you’ve probably never really been here try looking at a map. The cold weather must have frozen your brain.

Sheena, thank you for the warning. We will be careful. I think they have a Chico's outlet there, but I will check before going there.

When lukeache said "To go from extreme East(Goodyear) to extreme West (Apache Junction)," it seems like he is all turned around. Goodyear is on the west side and Apache Junction is way east of Phoenix (at least on normal maps).
Yea, the summer are hot, but I haven't seen many twisters in the 10 years I've been here. I also haven't had to shovel anything in that time either.
Glad to hear that you are happy in Minnesota 'cause that leaves more room in AZ for those that like it here. There must be some reason why so many people are moving here.

Although incidents are not uncommon here at the malls (just like at nearly every mall throughout the WORLD) - have had no problems at any of them in the East or the West - even with the Wrangler's top off. I do not concern myself with it either - if something happens, it happens, I'm insured. You should be too.

People are moving to AZ because....
We hear it's paradise out there for retirees for afforability.
We hear over and over "this is where the jobs are!"
We are told the huge influx of retirees is providing more jobs.
I don't believe any one place is paradise. There is some real hard sell back east here about Phoenix.

Metro Center I am uneasy there......as for Az Mills; not having been there there in years it must have deteriorated in that time.
