Anybody got any good ideas on a fun place for me and my girlfriend to go on New Years Eve in Scottsdale? I'm not into the bar scene, so any other ideas would be appreciated.

Thanks!

Well if they are not into the bar scene then Scottsdale isnt for them and the Block Party would be a better alternative.

Things to do New Years Eve 2011 Phoenix Metropolitan Area:
New Years Eve in Phoenix - Things To Do on New Year's Eve in Phoenix and Scottsdale Arizona

The block party in Tempe abuts Scottsdale, EZ to get to from neighboring Scottsdale and is a good reccomendation.

Mill is the bar scene, Scottsdale is the Club/Restaurant scene.

I would suggest Old Town over Mill, just due to the fact that Mill will be crowded with college kids, and Scottsdale will be more of a mix of people.

Plus Scottsdale has a lot more to do than Mill.

Going to the block party depends on whether you want to do New Year's Eve with thousands of people in a huge crowd, or at one restaurant/club location. In that case, Scottsdale's a better alternative.

Very True. I know the W Scottsdale does a NYE bash it's more of a laid back atmosphere from some of the clubs, plus their outdoor patio on the 2nd level is amazing!

How about getting in on some package deal with a hotel? You can get dinner, drinks, some party festivities, and a place to crash without risking a DUI or an accident. I've done this over the years and it always worked out great.
