Default Is Phoenix the largest metropolitan area without an Office Depot store?

From what I heard, Office Depot pulled out of the Phoenix area 10 years ago; in Arizona they are now only in the Tucson area.

I was wondering, is Phoenix currently the largest metropolitan area in the U.S. without an Office Depot store? What were the reasons for them pulling out?

You can buy supplies at Office Depot online. If you buy for over 50$ shipping is free. And it is next day delivery depending on the time you order.

I have no idea why they left... I barely remember being in one. I must have liked Office Max and Staples better, others may well have felt the same way.

With their stock nearing the $2 mark, they may go out of business in 2012 across the US.

Your phone book is outdated. I used my own zip code of 85029 where I grew up and there are none within 100 miles of it.
