We went on Friday. It was the easiest IKEA shopping experience we've ever had. I expect that today, it will be back to its normal, crazy, infuriating weekend self.

I went to another one in another part of the country on sat. I was traveling and got there just as they opened. I wasn't going there to buy anything advertised, just to look around. When we entered, they gave us a wristband to wear and told us that the first 200 in the store get a deal. They had a pot set for $20 that was normally $40 (I think). I went ahead and bought one, even though I wasn't expecting it.

If it is a holiday, or a weekend day, IKEA Tempe is going to be busy. I am not sure why that is.

Thanks for the info. We blew off the Sunday trip to Ikea - decided the savings wasn't worth the hassle and the risk of a crazy weekend Ikea trip.
