Pruitts is decent I guess. I bought a recliner there and everyone loves it.

There are so many stores that have nice things. I like Bassett, they are a little pricey, but the quality is excellent. Ashley has some good prices. Levitz isn't bad either. If you are looking for a steal and don't mind shopping in a store that isn't fancy , there is a place called The Big Tin Shed. It's on 51st ave and Bethany. Remember, you don't have to furnish your house all at once. Get the essentials, and then add on from there when you see a nice piece or a great deal.

Just like the last poster said, a place that doesn't look fancy would be J&K Furniture. It's CRAZY busy there. There's one on Bell rd, west of 32nd st. It has some used, and some new.
They have another one that is crazy SLOW! It's up at 27th ave and Deer Valley. I don't think anyone knows about it yet. I found it and walked through, I was the only one there on a weekend. The one on Bell is a lot better though (bigger and easier to walk around). |

![]() People pass away and quite often most of the family lives out of the state so they call the Thrift Stores so they don't have to deal with it and most of the stuff looks hardly used. |

Ikea, Ikea, Ikea. I love it, and you can find some nice things cheap. I just brought a long glass dining room table that's gorgeous for 120.00. The only downfall is, with most of the stuff you have to put it together yourself. It's not too hard and they usually include tools and easy directions.
Hope this helps. |

Can't recommend stores, but can tell you that my son bought his bedroom furniture at Ikea (bed, double dresser, nightstands) and said it was easy to put together following great instructions, and with the help of a small cordless drill (not manual screw-driver) His dresser is so heavy it takes two people to move it.
