This area of Fountain Hills seems like a nice area. What are your thoughts, cd people?

Don't you live in the FH area already? Seems like you'd find better info right there in your own town.

Sounds like you South Tempe folks have a grudge against us Fountain Hills folks.

Actually, Observer53, the cd people give you the skinny that you will not find in all the official reports...and you being a moderator should already know that.

Hmmm.....we live in NE FH and so I am not familiar with the south side, which is where the DC golf course homes are located.

No grudge at all from "south Tempe people". It just seems to me that in a town the size of Fountain Hills, the best way to get information about the other side of town would be to go there. I wasn't suggesting anything about "official reports". We are all often suggesting to people out of state who ask about an area here that they've never seen is that they should "come and see for themselves" and get a feel for the area. (We occasionally get someone who lives in one geographic extreme of the Valley who has never been to the opposite one, and make the same suggestion, and that's a lot more of a drive than to the opposite end of FH) I was simply making the same suggestion to you.

IMO, you'd get more useful information by going to that section, driving around and then walking around a bit, perhaps speaking to people who live in the area who might be out for a walk. Or, go to the golf course and visit with people. That's easier, and likely more productive, than waiting to find people here who might live in that particular development or be otherwise really familiar with it.

OMGoodness....no, I'm definitely not sitting around waiting...and waiting for some type of reply and we have indeed frequented the area and talked to the neighbors, etc., which is a must for us in choosing neighborhoods.

However, this being the Phoenix area relocation forum, I am simply inquiring to see what those think of the area that may live there.
