Higley Unified School District to be merged into Gilbert Public Schools?
According to this article:
Issue of unification of school districts re-emerges
Plans to merge the Higley Unified School District into Gilbert Public Schools have been revived after voters rejected it in 2004.
Does anyone here support the idea?

I support merger of districts all over the Valley. The amount of money that is used to maintain the administrations of dozens of small district offices, that never reaches the classrooms, is appalling. But, everyone wants their little fiefdom, and those school boards are going to want to keep things just the way they are.
