Is anybody else having a bad allergy season? I can't find the current pollen count on line, but it doesn't matter. I cannot breathe at night. I am sneezing during the day and have a constant sore throat. Don't usually have allergy symptoms since I had 2 rounds of shots back in the 70s and was pretty much cured. Is it the pollen or air pollution? Just seems worse this year than ever before. Or is it just me???

I've never had allergies like the ones I'm having this season. Really bad.

Horrid allergies. Moved here in August, so I have absolutely no idea what to expect month to month...So it's normally not this bad, seasonally?

I bought some STRONG allergy pills. At least I can breath!

For me its the wind blowing the particulates around. Not really flowers blooming and tumbleweeds. I've never had allergies until three years ago. My entire sinus cavity swells internally and im blowing my nose like i have the flu.

Its not just here - many stories on the Weather Channel lately saying this season has the highest pollen counts for decades ALL OVER the country. People in the midwest are really complaining.

Its because of the mild winter we (and everyone in the USA) had. Flowers are blooming earlier and in greater amounts than normal. I can barely keep up with my yardwork right now...

OOOH! Thanks everyone for sharing. This morning I got up with a glob of yellow gunk in my throat. Back on antibiotics I guess. Hopefully this season will ease off as the heat gears up.

This is the worst I've experienced as well. It's really bad this year. I finally manned up and went to see a doctor (an allergist) LOL

So far it has been maybe 1/10th as bad as it was for me this time last year, but my wife is downing Allegra like they're M&Ms.
