CDL is a Commercial License to drive a Truck. The endorsements are for special cargo and driving/equipment requirements.

The Chandler district as a whole is a good one. As far as where to live, the area right around downtown and along Arizona Ave going south is older, somewhat lower income and higher crime. Anywhere in the rest if the city is fine.

The Ocotillo area in chandler (especially around Queen Creek and Alma School roads) is a safe area with top rated schools and well priced apartments.

I would look West of loop 101 along Ray Road, also South Chandler in the Ocotillo area (South of Loop 202). The first location is 10 minutes closer to downtown, the second area is more upscale. Schools are excellent in both areas.

Default Year round or traditional schools?

Aren't there two school districts in Chandler, one year round and the other traditional? Big difference, even if you don't have kids in school.

Being a Chandler resident, my favorite area is west of the 101. It is very close to south Tempe and bounded by the 101, 202, and I-10 which makes for easy commuting. I currently live in northeast Chandler which is older, more urban, and has more shopping versus south Chandler which is newer and generally more expensive.

The Chandler school district is pretty good and the schools in the nicer areas are the better schools. Perhaps you are thinking of the Kyrene school district which spans Tempe, Chandler, and Phoenix (Ahwatukee). That is a very good school district to be in, I hear. I am not sure if they are traditional or year-round.

There are not two separate districts that I'm aware of, except that part of northwest Chandler is covered by the Kyrene district. The whole district has the same calendar, http://www.mychandlerschools.org/cms...AR_2012-13.pdf
