Not so fast. The legislature is trying to secretly back door a $260,000 handout of taxpayer money to Pearce to pay him for his recall that he never paid for in the first place. Other than the death of Ready, maybe a relative sliver of good that will come of this will be Pearce doesn't get his money and Brewer and Arpaio get smeared with the blood and lose their offices. It is still a tradgedy that kids and innocent people had to die for it, though.

It would be political suicide for the legislature to pass that payout bill now. If they do, not even Brewer would be stupid enough to sign it. Pearce and his connection to Ready are going to be major news and it will send the roaches scurrying for cover.

No loss there with JTR offing himself but him killing his family was stupid and sad.

Please DON'T drag in people who support 1070 in with the likes if Ready, Ok? Most of us are NOT racists.

Many pro illegal people are tied in with La Raza and a few are in with the drug cartels but NOT all of them. I say "drug cartels" cause those people have killed many more people in Mexico than a bunch of neo Nazis in the US.

Unless you are a GOP official that attends SB1070 or nativist rallies... then nothing in that statement applied to you.

Ready attended nearly all of those rallies and frequently got himself on camera standing next to GOP officials.

True but the local media is going to run with this and show the connection between Pearce and this guy. I don't think anyone is going to do any favors for Pearce now that the public will be made aware of his association with this killer and neo-nazi

The local NBC news is reporting that Ready's crowd is claiming it was a drug cartel hit but the police are disputing. I don't think the Gilbert PD would shy away from saying it was a drug cartel hit if they felt it was. But, I, and other sane people will wait for all the facts before running with a story (something our dear US media does not do).

It's getting crazier. The news was talking about ICE being there. If what happened was just a domestic; there'd be no need for immigration to be there.

I didn't see any ICE tshirts on the video. FBI anti-terrorism was there though. There was a spokesman on the tube a little while ago that said there were two drums on the site that had to be checked for hazmat before the investigation could proceed. Also, there may be a surviving witness.
