Moved here from Detroit the first time in '06, went back last summer, and moved here again earlier this year :P

I've been thinking a lot lately of how much I miss those greasy little Telway burgers back home in Detroit. Anyone else from Detroit find anything similar here in Phoenix? I think the closest I've come so far is Dave's Doghouse in Tempe, but that's still not really the same.

To anyone not from Detroit, or haven't experienced a Telway burger, it's more than just a greasy slider burger. Can't really explain it to those who haven't been there, lol.

I had to look Telway Hamburgers up on Yelp. I never noticed their little ramshackle building on that stretch of Michigan in Detroit.

I'm sure you can find similar fare here but you will have to look and check out mom 'n' pop places. In-N-Out is tops in the fast food burger world if you ask me.
