Default Working in Tolleson, where would you live?

My husband and I are relocating to AZ from MN in a few months, he is going to be working in Tolleson. We would like to live not too far (more than 20 miles) from Tolleson as I have read about the bad traffic problems. Is there a safe area which has parks and bike/walking trails? Any recommendation of places to rent would also be appreciated. Thanks for any help.

From what I have heard, Estrella Mountain Ranch is a really nice place to live and wouldn't be far from Tolleson. We have a couple of people here who lives there, maybe they can help you more.

Estrella Mt. Ranch would be my first choice as well. They have a fantastic lake that you can fish in and ride boats on.

Estrella is nice - I live there. You can go the back way to Tolleson in about 10-15 minutes along rural roads past horses and cows and no real traffic at all. Estrella is all about the amenities - lakes, trails, waterpark, fitness center, hiking trails upon hiking trails. Just about anywhere in Goodyear would be fine, too. Maybe 10-15 mins from Tolleson. Everything is new and safe. You could even consider Sundance and Verrado along I-10 in Buckeye though that might be at the edge of your 20 minute limit.
