There are many people in Arizona who are free-spirited and are not averse to wearing a minimal amount of clothing in public. Why isn't there a World Naked Bike Ride event in the greater Phoenix area?

I'm just wondering....WHY? Why would you have a naked bike ride, just to show off being naked? What possible advantage could riding in the nude confer over wearing your clothes? Sounds like one of the all-time worst idea's I've ever heard, just an excuse for exhibitionists to ride around showing off their not-necessarily-desirable goods.

Its bad enough that this guy wears tights, does anyone seriously want to see what is under there?

i love bike rides but there is a point in the maturity process when mother nature suggests that we leave the clothes on instead. no better example than black's beach. @ 40plus hot you're not.

Phoenix might be a little on the conservative side for such an event.

I'm pretty open-minded and moderately liberal on most things but I would find something like this pretty repulsive.

Most exhibitionists are anything but supermodels or buff bodybuilders, not anything worth seeing imho.

Because the 2000 guys and 3 women who want to do it don't live in Phoenix.

No offense. But there are few people I would like to see nude. And there are a lot of people I don't even want to imagine naked.

Perhaps Phoenix does not have the necessary contingent of shallow, narcissistic, vain, immature people to put on such an 'event'.

I lived in Seattle where this was an annual event. It's childish, selfish and vile.

Can you explain your feelings on why these traits are necessary for someone participating in this event?
