My favorite builder is Fulton, but Shea and Pulte are also good. The community we went with is Fulton Homes Freeman Farms (no community pools or fitness centers here). We considered Shea at Seville prior to purchasing our Fulton home, but we couldn't get our desired floorplan in a reasonable amount of time.

How long have you been in your new house? And have you had any
Issues with it?
Which house design did you choose(I really want a 3 car garage also).
Is urs one level or 2?
How are ur HOA fees, if u don't mind me asking. Ideally I wanna be from $70-95 tops, not willing to go over that

Thanks

We have been here since September of 2011, and had no serious issues. The floorplan we went with is the Cayman in the Caribbean series, which has a 3 car tandem garage. However, there are some floorplans that have separate 2 car and 1 car garages. Our floorplan is a one-story, but two-story floorplans are available.

I don't know what are the HOA fees, since my parents are the ones who pay them.

EDIT: Looking online, most sites seem to say the HOA fees are $85.

Yep, my family relocated from Rio Rancho, NM. We really like the place. I personally like it better than NM.

I'm assuming you mean community pools, right? This is the desert...there are pools everywhere! As for builders we had a home built by Richmond American and for the most part had no major issues. I like Shea homes as well and know that Pulte builds a good house. Gilbert is a nice, family-oriented city that is growing. There seems to be an emphasis on planting grass instead of the desert landscape in many newer communities which is nice.

By the way, my wife and I are from Massachusetts also. I grew up in Springfield and she in Dorchester.
