This is the best news I've heard all day.

There was an article in the Phoenix Business Journal today that says Phoenix is also in the running for an NASL expansion team.

Sounds good, just as long as tax money isn't used to bring in the team or build them a stadium. Most of all, keep the venue centrally located ... not out in the sticks like where they plunked Westgate. And lastly, I hope the team is named after Phoenix & not Arizona. Are these realistic expectations, or just wishful thinking?

Good news! We need a MLS team eventually. I would definitely support them.

Most USL clubs play in previously existing smaller stadiums. My guess is they would probably come to agreement with a local high school.

If we ever get an MLS team they will most likely play at UOP stadium.
