Default Water Bills?

What is the average price of a water bill for a 3-4 bedroom, 3 bath house with a pool? Just trying to get an idea as to how much to expect to pay for water, I've heard something about water costing a lot in AZ and wanted to see if that was true.

Thanks so much for your help!

The water is cheap but they add a bunch of other stuff to the bill - sewer, trash, jail taxes etc. I pay about 80 bucks a month on an annual basis for all that. But Goodyear where I am is high and we have the best trash service and pay willingly .

Default Electric?

Sorry to hijack a post but it got me wondering with the very high temps how much would you expect to pay for electricity per month?

I live in Phoenix and I don't have a swimming pool (yet); I pay between $39 and $41 a month for water, and trash collections. I also have a desert landscape (no grass)

I also remember when I was a kid and we lived near 3rd Ave & Highland, which is an older neighborhood, they used to flood our yards once a month, and I think SRP still does that, but you have to pay extra for the irrigation if you live in the older neighborhoods.

Water rates vary with the different municipalitites. My rate is $15.50 per month plus $11.00 for trash pick up twice a week. I do not have a pool. I have a 2000 sq ft home on a 12,000 sq ft lot with low maintenance plants.
I know some people in the New River area that pay over $100.00 monthly from private water companies.
You need to check with the water company that will serve your area.
