Default Is 75th and Peoria in Peoria AZ a bad area?

I live near 75th and Peoria in Peoria... I recently got my house broken into. I have never heard gun shots in the neighborhood, and even when my dad came to visit, he went on a lot of jogs around the neighborhood... and felt it was safe. I've never really seen much problems around here.

But yesterday I had my first burglary. Nothing much of any value was stolen (I'm poor and don't have much in my house...lol)

Anyways... I'm just wondering if I made a HUGE mistake in moving here.

Also... would appreciate any recommendations for security installers.

I don't think that's a particularly bad area, there are better and worse ones in that city. It just may have been bad luck. How did they get in, and what time of day?

I have been through that part of the city before and recently as 5 or 6 months ago, and it seemed nice enough to me. I think what happened to you was just bad luck.

sorry to hear that....review why they may've targeted you and see if you need to change something you're doing....check online for burglary prevention hints and call the local PD and see what they suggest....talk to your neighbors and maybe start keeping an eye out for each other.....

Nah, the area is fine. I've been there quite a few times. It's certainly not the best area, but there are much worse areas south of there. I wouldn't worry too much about any crime in that area, there are break-ins in a lot of the much nicer areas as well.
