I might need a weekend job to cover bills. Are there even any around?? Or do I just need to look for a higher paying job?? WHat types are available if there are weekend jobs out there??

That's something you will have to figure out for yourself. Apply for part time positions and see what happens. I'll be on the hunt for a part time job myself soon.

When are you coming here? As far as weekend jobs, it's hard. Service jobs are pretty much the only jobs to land (bagger, server, hotel front desk). I wish there was more weekend jobs here in Phoenix. There isn't educational programs on weekends either. I feel Arizona saves the weekend like everyone has it off and you're stuck doing nothing but relaxing. boooring

relaxing on the weekends would be fine with me. relaxing by the pool and the laptop doing my college work. i'm all about it. i just have to make sure that i get a good job 12-14 n hr to pay rent and bills.
i'll be arriving in late sept. whenever my dr clears me to lift things. i am having surgery on 30aug. giving myself a month to heal good. guess i'll b looking at call center jobs. i haev 10yrs experience.

If you can convince someone to pay you more than $10 an hour, more power to you. Typically call centers will pay $10 an hour, but that is something you'll have to be smart about.

sorry guys the previous post was directed towards both of you.

i copied it .... wow, 10 an hr is not that much. no idea what i will do.

hooters... i could possibly do that. i'm a pretty girl. i am pretty flirty. might look into that.
