I'm home with three little ones during the day, so between 75-78 or we're all miserable and sweating.

I use to keep mine at 76 until my son had to spend some time in Tent City for a minor crime in the middle of the summer. I don't complain anymore when it is "hot" outside.

I keep mine at 74.

I used to keep it at 80 because I'm gone most of the summer. But once or twice a summer the A/C breaks down and condensation forms a puddle in the unit which spills onto the carpeting. This happens on the weekends I return and set the temp to 74. So this summer I decided to keep it at 74 while I'm gone. So far no leaks. I think that fixes it. My last bill was $100, and it's a reasonably small amount so that on a Friday night after a long week in California when I get inside my apartment it's already cool. Otherwise it would take more than a day to cool down to comfortable... I have about 1,000 square feet.

Wow! You got the inside climate of San Luis Obispo but with the window views of the wonderful Phoenix sunny days! Best of both worlds!

Programmed to 80 for weekdays, 78 weekend days, 78 evenings, 77 over night. Will override the 80 to 78 if I am at home during the day.
