It's what I've always called them. I lived in the valley 45+ years and that's all I've ever heard-at least it was until I came to this board.
Although for the short time (about 1.5 years) I actually lived within the Phoenix city limits, I referred to my self as something else. I've lived the vast majority of my life in Scottsdale, Tempe, Chandler, Mesa, Apache Junction and Gilbert.
