It's a step in the right direction ... but where are the large reputable firms of the Fortune 500/1,000 variety? I certainly hope the threat of US Airways merging with American and moving to Texas doesn't come true. If that happens, the metro area will be minus one large corporate HQ, and it will be a step backward instead of forward.

Believe me, I know firsthand about this potential airline merger and it's frightening.
