The 91 in Michigan was a freak of nature at this time of the year. 50, cloudy and rainy is more like it. Come join us down here, the wonderful weather has arrived. Humidity went down and it's still in the 90's. It ROCKS!

I think the weather here is great right now. Low 90s/high 80s during the day and cooler nights are perfect. Only after being here for a few years now, I think 70s is cold and am glad when that occurs only in Dec & Jan.

It's great to be able to wear shorts almost all year round. It saves a lot of money on clothes, especially for kids because they grow so fast. We're glad we don't have to buy a whole new winter wardrobe like bulky winter coats, mittens, boots, snowmobile suits (remember those?! ), and lots of long sleeve shirts and sweaters every year for them. Here we only buy a few pairs of pants and long sleeve shirts to get us through the cooler months.

ArizonaBear, instead of moving to Kingman to get away from the central Phoenix brown cloud, you may want to consider moving somewhere on the outskirts of Phoenix. We live in the northern part of Peoria, and it's wonderful to see a beautiful blue sky with magnificent clear views of White Peak, Twin Buttes, Saddleback Mountain, Baldy Mountain, Black Mountain, and the Bradshaw Mountain range.

I love having the windows open at night.
I need to go up to WA the end of this month and we are dreading it. I do not have the clothes for cold weather.

I live a bit north east of Carefree and it is glorious up here. Very cool at night, bright and warm during the day. Could not ask for better weather. The skies are very clear at night so you can see a million stars.

Phoenix Weather is interesting, because it does appear to remain Warm there for longer periods than most places in the Country at the same latitude, and even Spring and Summer arrives early in Phoenix.

I would also think the elevation of Phoenix (1,135ft) would moderate the temps a bit,but it doesn't seem to have that effect....I live near Bakersfield (elevation 505ft) but yet it's only 69 degrees at 2pm PT,while Phoenix is 91 degrees.
