A good friend of mine moved down here from Oregon a few months ago and he owns a classic car. A 1970 Firebird. Beautiful car. Fully restored and sparkling clean.
Anyway, he likes to put non-ethanol fuel in it. He is on the Apache Junction/Mesa border. Is there someplace that sells non-ethanol fuel on the east side or in Pinal County?

Thanks.

None of those stations in and around the metro area. What about all those chainsaws, mowers, generators and boats that can't use blended corn whisky and petrol?

Their owners are slowly funding the mechanical repair workers' new houses, I'd guess.

He can open his wallet and pop for some racing gas.
That's what I run in all my 2-stroke engines.

It would be far cheaper to just get some 100 octane aviation fuel.

Does Aviation fuel contain Lead, and does it also have a preservative in it for storage?

Yes, aviation fuel has lead. Not sure about the preservatives but I'd guess it would since most civilian aircraft sit idle even more than boats do. It comes in 100, 120 and 150 octane.

Yep, in fact, so called 100LL "Low Lead" avgas has four times as much lead in it than leaded car gas ever had.

Either way, pumping avgas into a car is illegal since there are no road taxes on avgas sales.
