We just visited there for the first time last week, while we had family out from the East for a visit. We had also visited Montezuma's Castle a few months ago. The Well was fascinating, we'll definately go back when the normal Arizona weather returns!

Tonto Nat'l Monument is a good one. Impressive ruins with a great view of the mountains and Roosevelt Lake a few miles from the end of the Apache Trail, which is good road to take people from out of state on. Don't go during hot weather though.

Agreed. Skip Goldfield. Its a tourist spot and nothing more. Your best bet is to take a drive into Navajo country. Some of the most amazing scenery can be found up there (monument valley). Check out V bar V near Sedona (well preserved petroglyph site). Dont limit yourself just to the Phoenix metro if you really want to learn about Native culture.

Don't skip Goldfield. It is fun and the Food is great. Not First American, but a lot of "B" Western. And there are even some "B" Girls.
