Sun City West started development in the late 70's and used no aluminum wiring as far as I know.
Del Webb used aluminum wiring for about 2 years in the early 70's in the original Sun City then switched back to copper around 73-74.

I have not heard of any issues with houses burning down in the Sun Cities due to aluminum wiring. The local fire dept can give you fire statistics.

My place was built in 1974 and has aluminum wiring.

Yes, but he retrofitted some unsold homes with copper.

Next time when you see a high power line, look at those wires, they are aluminium.
