The hi-jacking of a thread topic to what it is/is not like in Chicago happens a LOT on the AZ forum.

Well, if only some Zonies could keep their mouths shut and not lie about Chicago's weather, there would be no need for me (or others who really understand the weather here) to correct the lies, sparking even smart arse retorts from you guys. Ive seen the same thing on your boards to folks in Denver, Boston, Miami, etc, too. If you want to critique other peoples' weather, look no further than your own drought-ridden, dusty, dry, extremely hot Valley of the Sun. Agree?

Always the same pattern: Someone makes a less than glowing comment about the Windy City and the Chicago Anti-Defamation League representative(s) springs into action and the thread drifts off topic and on to Chi-town. But who am I to criticize? This post is a hi-jack of a hi-jack.

Dude, because the OP said it was boring in Phoenix. We're just trying to spice it up a little.
My question is, what is the average speed velocity of a swallow?
(sorry for the misattribution Bill-, and yes, my Mommy is sitting right here with me monitoring my browsing).

Alright...any forum that I frequent...music, sports, chicage, Arizona...anything at all...and threads get hijacked. its the nature of online forums.
I love Chicago, it is a great city with a ton of things to do. if the weather does not bother you it is a wonderful place to live. The exact same holds true for Phoenix and Miami and key West and all the other places that have been brought up in this thread.
One mans ceiling is another mans floor....

Good question. But you have to ask yourself, is the swallow carrying a coconut? Is it a African or American swallow?
Sorry... had to do a little Monte Python there...
