Well, it depends on what you like to do. Are you a night owl or a day person? I love the fact that I can play tennis every day of the year here! Also, there are some GREAT hiking trails! But if you like theater, we have some wonderful plays that come into town. I just saw Jersey Boys and really enjoyed it even though the music was before my time. Have you been to downtown Scottsdale at night? Try the Pink Taco! You may just run into a celebrity or two!

Go to Scottsdale Road and Main Street and check out some of the bars along Scottsdale Road. Head north and you will find plenty!

"Pick and choose"? Perhaps a further explanation of this could help us help you

Do you like sports? We have lots of sports

Do you like theatre (not movie)? We have lots of theatres

Do you like Clubbing? We have lots of clubs

Do you like hiking? We have lots of hiking

Do you like dining experiences? We have LOTS of dining opportunities

Etc -

IMHO, if you cannot find something to do in the Valley, you are not looking

Maybe you could spend time packing your things and getting ready to leave if you don't like it here. If "Mill" is your idea of what something to do is then I would guess you have few commitments that would prevent you from finding a place more to your liking. Try Austin.

Might I make a suggestion? You probably would get more helpful ideas from people on this forum if you stop being so insulting. Rather than calling it the "deadest city" and not a "real city", you might want to try just simply asking for opinions of the best places to go for...(fill in your favorite activity). I have found people on this forum can be very helpful with whatever you would like to ask of them, but not if you request information by first insulting their (our) city. Just a suggestion. Hope you find what you are looking for.
