I know gas is going up again in price. I just wonder if its going up faster in some areas or stations faster. Yesterday I was walking by the Shell station at Sun City West. The cheapest gas was $3.49 and the day before it was $3.31. When I drove out into Surprise or Phoenix I see it going up also, but not the dramatic jump as this Shell station. Has anyone else seen the price jump this fast at one station vs another?

I'm in the far east valley and the QT down the street had it for 3.19 two days ago. Yesterday morning it was 3.23 and last night it was 3.29. Sheesh!

Same here. It was $3.19 and the next day it was $3.33.

And yet just a couple of weeks ago there were news stories claiming gas prices would go down this year!

They did, down below 3.00, but then popped right back up again... Crazy.

You bet! I ride the bus nine days out of 10. I can take a bus to work, save the hassle and expense of driving, and pay for a month of bus riding less than one tank of gas costs me. My commute is just shy of 40 miles a day. Even I can do all that math!

Want high gas prices? Keep saying no to the XL Pipeline.

What's your commute time from walking out you front door to entering into your place of business? Just curious. If you don't mind, give us both public transportation and personal vehicle times.

Me personally, I can walk to work in 30 minutes, bike in 10-12, or take the bus in 15-25 (depending how long I wait at the bus stop. Yeah, I have a car too, but almost never drive to work (I can drive from my house to work in about 4 minutes). 9 out of 10 days I ride my bicycle

Not convinced it will make a difference. The companies will just pass related operation cost to us. The pipeline is to max their profits, not to lower gas prices. The jump in current gas prices is a result of the summer blend
