Talking Ideas for Anniversary

Greetings Everyone,

We relocated to Gilbert back in June and are loving it. I just got back from Seattle on business last night and I have to say being cold really sucks! Not to mention their traffic.

So my anniversary is coming up in just a couple weeks and I was thinking of doing a picnic or something that you can only do in AZ in October but since I am new I am having a little trouble finding a place that would be nice. Something with a nice view would be great and I don't mind driving a bit. I am also open to other ideas on something romantic but not typical.

TIA.

Regards,
Anthony

First thing that comes to my mind is Sedona. October weather is beautiful in Sedona. And what better spot for a picnic than gazing out at those magnificent Red Rocks. Also, the trees will be changing in Oak Creek Canyon - and that's a beautiful picnic area, too.

Many B&B's in Sedona and Oak Creek that are perfect for an anniversary getaway. Just make your reservations ASAP as they are booked well in advance.

And Happy Anniversary!

what about the hot air balloon rides that are so common around phoenix...i think they do food packages? some do brunch or evening meals. maybe call some and tell them its an anniversary and do they have any special anniversary packages with dinner or whatever. I have done morning flights and its chilly so if they have afternoon flights i would recommend that instead!!
