I am a single gal, moving to the Phoenix area from the East Coast at the end of July. I will be taking a job located on East Missouri Ave in Phoenix. I have been looking at furnished apartments in Mesa and Tempe. I am only wanting something for a few months until I see where I want to stay permanently. I understand that I will have a bit of a commute, which is fine since I commute 35-45 minutes for my current job. I also understand that with any big city, there are pockets of safe and unsafe places to live. The apartments that I am looking at are The Villagio Furnished Apartments, Fiesta Village Apartments, and Stonegate Furnished Apartments. Would these be ok for a short-term stay for a single woman? I am looking to spend no more than $650 per month for a short term lease. My price range will increase when I start looking for something more permanent.
