Default traffic questions...

Well we have found the house and I have found a job so we are moving on November 24th to Tempe.

How long is the drive from the 101 in Tempe to Shea exit on the 101 in the mornings/nights?
My hubby will go from Tempe to Biltmore area...how long is that drive also during rush hours?

Last thing...when will it start to cool over out there??????????????

Thanks so much

Half an hour commute, maybe more if it gets really bad. I've had my windows open all day the past month, but close them at times in the afternoon when it gets into the 90's. Sleeping in the night air has never been so sedacive. I feel good!

From what exit in Tempe? It's going to be at least 11.5 miles of freeway. So it could get pretty bad during rush hour. I hope he has a confortable car.

We live at McClintock and Elliott.

I will work at 101 and Shea and he is at 24th and camelback.

So am I right to assume 30 minutes for me? 45 minutes for him??

The mileage is right but the time is never right. I would at least double it in light traffic. During rush hour it is not going to be pretty

This is just a rough estimate. I picked Luigi's Pizza because it is on McClintock and Elliott. I hope this helps.

You may be better off taking the loop around to Tatum possibly.

If you drive south on the 101 from 3pm-7pm you are in bumper to bumper, good luck.

Going North in the morning will be bad on the 101 until you hit the 60/202 area. After that it is still heavy but doable.

I work from home, so I can't help you much on the traffic bit. I would say, if you don't like to sweat, then don't plan to do anything outside from May to the end of October. It's Nov 2nd, and I still think being out at the park is iffy if I can't find a shady tree! April can get warm in the days, but the evenings should be pretty cool. I'm still waiting for the 90 degree temps to go away for the winter!!!
