I think Cactus Stables was out at the end of Northern, but not sure, I do remember The Western Saddle Club was near by

Thank you for the explanation. Wasn't there a Muntz Audio or something? Or was he from somewhere else. lol that "title" popped into my head when I read the name.

I hadn't heard that name or term since 1980 as a soph at ASU, in an avionics class. "Muntzing" meant reducing the amount of electronic components to the minimum needed to function, resulting in a simpler and cheaper system. It was key to the early success of Earl "Madman" Muntz' TV business.

Default Homer's Handyman Ad November 23, 1972

Here's a Homer's Handyman ad from 1972. The one on McDowell was close to me.

I seem to remember a big robbery at the Parkway Jeweler's store in the 70's, people said we are now a big city, kind of chilling at the time.
You mention in a previous post that you have an aerial view of Scottsdale and McDowell Roads before Los Arcos was built. I can't seem to find it posted anywhere. I'm a 51-year old native of Scottsdale with a nostalgic streak. I would love to exchange pictures.
