Could you have been thinking of the 1961 Studebaker Lark?

Thank you for this pic of the bird as the artist designed it, not the way it looks now. One of my treasured childhood memories.

Not as bad as the Scottsdale police in 1975 driving a Bricklin. They said by the time the door opened, the suspect they pulled over would take off.

The Scottsdale PD came to our high school [Saguaro] during a pep rally, around 1975. The door malfunctioned on the Bricklin and the officer had to attempt to crawl out the passenger side door. Talk about embarrassment; lots of laughs for the students, especially the stoners.

If Phoenix purchased the Dodge Dart, they had a real sleeper. The base models were so-so, but with the V-8s they were a real ride. Some with over 300 hp.

Some of the best Central Avenue cruisers drove A-body "MOPAR Magic".

The last time I was there was 30 years ago last week. Don't ask how I remember something that specific. Hard to beat their chicken and ribs. When did they close down?

Is this from someplace called Town-n-Country? A shopping center/large strip mall? I may have it mixed up with somewhere else but it certainly looks familiar from somewhere I've been.

Yes. The bird isn't displayed in the same spot or manner, and has been painted white (!!!!) but that's the place.

Anyone remember PV mall in the 80's - early 90's?
Where Sears is today, I remember it being "The Broadway".
The Broadway's at Los Arcos & Metrocenter had restaurants, correct?

Was there a restaurant at the PV "Broadway". I think I remember eating upstairs overlooking the interior of the mall. There are large windows above the Sears/mall entrance.

Anyone?
Thanks

Yup. Former home of Jutenhoops, Tucchetti, and Coyote Springs Brewing Company. Spent A LOT of time there.

I vaguely remember Bogart's being there, but I'm not 100% sure.
