Good, that stretch next to the Lexus dealer and across from the Ferrari, Bentley and Maserati dealers was starting to look a little rough.

Arpaio in a nutshell. It isn't significant one way or the other where and when a work detail does its thing. What is significant here is that the old fool issued a press release on the subject. It's all about getting publicity.

you shouldn't need to issue a press release to bring attention to doing your job.

In case you haven't read the article in the link that was included in the OP's message, it was about keeping drunk drivers off the streets on Super Bowl Sunday, not bringing attention to the job he's doing through the press, as some people might think.

The headline, which read Arpaio directs chain gang to work Super Bowl Sunday is what he was after and he got it.

My best bet is, there are criminals on this forum, or folks with criminal family members, or they are from an another planet where crime is not known....

Nobody was invited in his jail people... it was their own actions, or lack there off. So don't twist and turn it too make the jailer the criminal.

Yeah, these comments and concerns are certainly not raised elsewhere, huh? Also, not so certain much twisting and turning is necessary to turn the "jailer" into the criminal. Heck, ask the Justice Dept or FBI their thoughts. Corydon, this is not a small sample of folks...
