My allergies have been out of control here for the past three weeks or so. Seeing as spring has technically not even started yet, will allergy season just continue through the rest of the month, into April and May? This is a really nice time of year here, not too cold and not too hot, but I almost want the heat to hurry up so that allergy season comes to a quick close.

I don't have an answer but I'm in the same boat. I've been stuffed up and sneezing like crazy lately.

There's lots of stuff blooming out there now, including regular plants and weeds. And, it's been pretty breezy at times, too. It should calm down after the blooming is done.

My allergies have always been primarily tree pollen (specifically oak). I have had very mild symptoms the last few days. no sure what is causing it but it is 99% better here than where I lived before!

This is my ninth spring in Arizona and the worst allergy season I've endured. The only thing I can think of to account for it is the fact we had an exceptionally mild winter. I have potted flowers on my patio that never died off last winter. They've been blooming since I planted them last year. I also have potted herbs outside that always die off in the winter and they're still growing, too.

Worst winter for me as well. This is the first week I feel almost 80% and wake up not all congested.

Allergies are all year around here in the desert area. There are different types at different times. Some people are allergic to certain things for short periods and others everything all the time.

Glad I am not the only one suffering. I have never had this much trouble ever, and sneezing and stuffy nose and headache has taken over. It seems a little better today and I have new nose drops too, so relief is on the way.

Blame the lack of precipitation this winter on why so many people are suffering with allergies. Even though a wet winter contributes to more vegetation and more pollen, the moisture helps keep the level of dust, pollution, and other irritants down. I am also having more sinus problems than usual right now ... but I know that I always breathe better and am less congested after a somewhat rainier winter than after a dry one. Let's face it: the air is so much fresher after it rains, and more polluted when it is dry. Just the amount of dust, car exhaust, and industrial pollution we have can create nasal problems. Add a little wind, and that makes all the irritants in the air even worse.

I'm right there with the rest of you. Try a Neti Pot though. It really does help but you need to give it a week or so
