Hello All,
New to the forums but not new to the area. My family is looking at moving and we like a house at Villages at Val Vista in Gilbert. Does anybody know anything about this community? What about the builder Meritage? Any info would be greatly appreciated! Thanks

I live very close by. It looks like your standard HOA. Lots of houses, being built very quickly. The neighborhood, at this point, is a good one, very quiet, although Villages will be closer to Val Vista so there could be some more traffic noise as a result of that.

Good area. Right across from Campo Verde High School but is in the Perry High boundaries (Perry High is one mile South), so I guess that puts in in Chandler School district. Close to freeway, Mercy Gilbert, San Tan Village, Crossroads Towne Center, etc. Meritage is a good builder, known for energy efficiency, and yes that subdivision is going up fast. I believe the houses are on very small lots, so it seems more for the people that don't want to maintain yards.

Thanks for the info. Anyone else know anything about the area or live in this subdivision? We are thinking of going to talk to some of the neighbors to see how they like it.
