Hello -

I was just wondering how good(or bad) the quality of tap water is in the town of Fountain Hills..

I have heard some cities in Maricopa County have poor water quality(sand, arsenic, chlorine) and have been told to limit myself to how much tap water I drink. It is recommended to drink bottled water from the store.

So how is FH? Is it drinkable or should I steer clear?

Limit yourself to how much tap water you drink? This isn't Mexico! Where did you hear that? Probably the same people that say don't live West of Central Ave, your house will be infested with scorpions, everyone here is Mormon, etc, etc.

Yeah, you've not been given accurate advice on limiting the tap water you can drink. If you can handle the taste from the high mineral content it is fine to drink. Otherwise get a Reverse Osmosis unit and it will provide you cleaner water than you can get from any municipal water system in the country.
