Default Looking for anyone in Phoenix/area offering short term room and board

I am a 42 yr. old honest, law abiding, and hard working, responsible black man moving to Phoenix to escape Michigans cold winters and TERRIBLE economy. I will be leaving all of my belongings in storage here in Michigan, and driving to Phoenix. My dillema: I know absolutely no one there. I have a culinary diploma from a NYC cooking school, and once i get there, FINDING a job at the top restaurants in Phoenix will BE my first job. Once i've accomplished that i want to work toward getting my (cleaning) business up and running there. I have 4 more months of income remaining from the Michigan unemployment office. I am looking for a temporary place (preferably month to month terms) to lay my head once i get there. I can afford to pay $4oo/mo. (total) I don't need anything fancy. Trust me..if all you have to offer is a roof over my head, that will do. If the job market is as good as i'm hearing it is there, i will probably only need the temporary arrangments for a month or two. I am looking to be in Phoenix by January 1. or possibly around January 15th. Please send emails to Eequalzmc2@yahoo.com

I'd recommend checking craigslist.com. It's a great resource for temp housing arrangements.

You can try this place, it's not the taj mahal and you would probably want to leave as soon as you can.

I saw somewhere that they were running a special with no deposit.
