You may not get ice storms regularly, but you're certainly in a meat locker regularly! Heck, I froze there over Memorial day weekend! Yeah, yeah - shorts & flip-flops time for ya, as I observed.

Way to go, Mike . . . it only took six months.

By the way, we had the same "Foggy London" scenario until about Noon down here.

Well, I'm sure Tucson's slightly higher elevation helped keep the fog for a while longer. It was gone here by about 9:00 AM or so, but it was good to see the fog here. I also remember a couple of foggy days in Oregon in 1995 and 1996, where the fog settled on the road and froze.

I cant help the fact that youre a weakling when it comes to weather. Seriously, a little cold never hurt anyone. Besides, it puts some hair on yer chest.

A little rain never hurt anybody either. In fact, it was kind of interesting to see the TV news reports of some of the roads in the outlying areas washed out by the flooding washes ... and even more fun to watch the IDIOTS who try to drive through the flooded roadways & get stuck. I'm glad we have a Stupid Motorist Law in Arizona ... which forces these daredevils to flip the bill for their own rescues. Our tax money doesn't need to be paying for these inattentive bozos!

Other than that, my grass is plush green and my water bill will be reduced significantly this next pay period. Rain is good for this area ... especially now that we've been in a drought for nearly 12 years. Snow is beneficial for the high country because the runoff from the snowpack in the spring is essential for replenishing the water supplies. Besides, snow is beautiful to look at & play in. The sun freaks who don't like this weather can move to Saudi Arabia as far as I'm concerned. December is SUPPOSED to be rainy & snowy in Arizona.
