Anyone here live in Vistancia? Have you guys heard about a movie theatre that is supposedly in the works in Vistancia? One of the business owners told me about it recently but haven't been able to find out anything online about it, like what kind (AMC or Harkins) or any kind of timeline.

I always thought that the lake pleasant and happy valley area was in dire need of a movie theatre. hopefully one gets built!

The movie theater is in a shopping center at Four Corners, i.e., where Happy Valley and Lake Pleasant intersect. IIRC the site was a former sporting goods store.

Correct, not Vistancia. The new Harkins location is at Lake Pleasant Towne Center where Sport Chalet used to be.

OUgrad09, thank you, +5. On our Next Door site last July a local chap posted all that's coming to the Four Corners area (Lake Pleasant Pkwy, aka LPP and Happy Valley Rd.). The Target store remodel has been going on for almost a year, haven't been in to see what's new but after all this time, and a flotilla of construction trailers on the lot, it tells me they're doing a major make-over. A lot of dirt is being moved on LPP, west side, near the Home Depot. I like Harkins coming up here, saves us a 30-minute trip from Vistancia to the Harkins near Peoria Stadium in the P83 area.
