Just got back from San Diego from a nice long stay by the beach! Ahhhhhhhhhh, it was sweet! Not a long trip and plenty of beach. Lucky I missed the little earthquake. he he

IMO, Mexico's beaches are far better than California's beaches. I haven't gone to Mexico in over ten years since the escalation in drug violence has scared me away. I love Mexico minus the drug cartels and minus the violence. I never went to Rocky Point or San Carlos.

But if you feel safe going there, more power to you and I am envious! I would go to San Felipe a few times and camp on the beach with my friends. I have gone to Club Med Playa Blanca south of Puerto Vallarta, and it has a nice smooth crescent-shaped beach. Also of course to Cabo San Lucas and its nice beaches.

Enjoy! I hope to be able to go to Mexico in my future.
