I'm from out of state so my only source of info is what I read on the web. What do any of you know about the development of Douglas Ranch? What is the latest status of the I-11 project to Las Vegas?
The Douglas Ranch project sounds huge. What are your thoughts? Pipe dream or reality and if so, when? What are Phoenix citizens thinking about both of these projects?

had to google that for a reminder (the "ranch", not I-11)

Douglas Ranch

there was some chatter about this during the boom years of 2003-2006, but I'm sure things will be quiet out there for many years.....if I-11 does happen, that will be many years away, too....

but good forward-thinking!

I never even heard about that while I was living there. I imagine people in Tartesso saying "damn, that's out there!" Tartesso is only half built itself because of the housing bubble bursting in 2008. I doubt people will look any farther out in the next few decades. There just won't be demand unless something changes economically.
